Le Mexique présent pour la 5e fois de suite
Les sélections mexicaines de jeunes se portent bien. Le Mexique U21 a remporté les Jeux d'Amérique centrale et des Caraïbes en novembre grâce à une victoire face au Venezuela. Deux mois plus tard, en janvier, la sélection U20 a remporté le championnat de la zone CONCACAF en battant le Panama en finale. Un succès continental qui octroie aux jeunes Mexicains le droit de disputer la prochaine Coupe du Monde U20 qui se déroulera en juin.
Jusqu’à présent, le Mexique n’a remporté le Festival International Espoirs qu’à une seule reprise. C’était en 2012 et cette année-là, la « Tri » fut particulièrement impressionnante. Hector Herrera, le milieu du FC Porto, avait été élu meilleur joueur du tournoi tandis Marco Fabian (Cruz Azul) avait terminé meilleur buteur de la compétition avec sept buts inscrits.

Mexico will compete in the Toulon Tournament for the 5th time in a row
During the next weeks, we will unveil you the name of the teams which will take part in the 2015 Toulon Tournament. This time, we talk about Mexico which will contest the Toulon Tournament for the 5th time in a row.
The Mexican youth teams are in a good form. Mexico’s U21 squad has won, in November, the Central American and Caribbean Games thanks to a victory against Venezuela. Two months later, in January, Mexico’s U20 squad defeated Panama in final to win the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship. This continental success allowed the young Mexicans to compete in the next U20 World Cup in June.
Until now, Mexico has won the Toulon Tournament only once. It was in 2012 and this year, the “Tri” was absolutely impressive as Hector Herrera, the FC Porto midfielder, was named best player of the tournament while Marco Fabian (Cruz Azul) has scored seven goals and was the top scorer of the competition.
